Gypsum Joint Tape is a fiberglass mesh tape used in drywall installation to cover and reinforce the seams (joints) between gypsum boards (drywall panels).
- Applied over joints after the first coat of joint compound (mud).
- Prevents cracks at the seams by holding the boards together.
- Helps create a smooth, seamless surface for painting or finishing
