G.I. Board Channel
The G.I. (Galvanized Iron) Board Channel is a metal framing component used in gypsum partition walls and ceilings. It is made from galvanized steel, providing strength, durability, and resistance to rust.
- Acts as a vertical stud or horizontal runner to form the framework for gypsum board partitions.
- Provides structural support and ensures proper alignment of gypsum boards.
- Used in combination with U-channels (top & bottom) and C-channels (studs) to create a stable partition system.
- Suitable for drywall construction, false ceilings, and lightweight partition walls in residential and commercial buildings.
