Business Development Executive

We seek a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth in our building materials trading division. You’ll identify new opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence across the GCC. If you’re a proactive relationship-builder with deep industry knowledge and a passion for sustainable construction, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identifying and Developing New Business : Actively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities within the construction and fit-out sectors. 
  • Building Relationships : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, architects, and procurement teams. 
  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. 
  • Market Research : Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Sales and Marketing : Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives, manage distribution channels, and improve sales performance. 
  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships with distributors, ensuring they have the support and resources to effectively sell products. 
  • Project Tracking : Monitor the progress of new construction and renovation projects, engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives. 
  • Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on product developments, technical specifications, and industry trends. 
  • Presentations and Proposals : Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients. 
  • Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient project delivery. 
  • Performance Management : Supervise distributor sales teams, providing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting sales targets. 
  • Sales Target Achievement : Lead sales and market expansion efforts, focusing on achieving key performance indicators in line with the company’s goals. 
  • Distribution Network Management : Build and maintain a robust system of distribution partners, ensuring regular performance evaluations. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales/business development in building materials, construction, or trading.
  • Network: Established connections with contractors, developers, or architectural firms in UAE/GCC.
  • Industry Knowledge: Expertise in timber, composites, or structural materials (technical specs, applications, supply chains).
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of exceeding targets and closing high-value deals.
  • Communication: Fluent English (Arabic a plus); exceptional negotiation/presentation skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, analytical, and committed to sustainable innovation.
